Angela Tanoesoedibjo broke records when she was appointed Indonesia’s deputy minister of tourism and the creative economy in 2019 aged just 32. She has since helped to implement the Gerak Cepat programme, aiming to breathe life back into Indonesia’s post-Covid tourism economy. She was previously the managing director of Global TV from 2014, spearheading its rise to a top-five terrestrial television channel in the country.
