Andy Lau

Hong Kong superstar and three-time recipient of the Hong Kong Film Award best actor gong Andy Lau has been singing, dancing, acting and producing movies for four decades—and shows no sign of slowing down.

Lau's acting career began in the early 1980s with television roles, but it was his transition to film that solidified his status as a leading man. He has appeared in over 160 films, showcasing his range in genres from action to drama. Notable performances include his role in the Infernal Affairs trilogy, which not only achieved box office success but also received critical acclaim.

Parallel to his acting career, Lau has made significant contributions to the music industry. As one of the so-called “Four Heavenly Kings” of Cantopop, he has released numerous albums that have resonated with audiences across Asia.

In 2024, he appeared in three films, all of which he produced, and held a concert tour across Asia, with 20 performances scheduled to take place in his hometown.
