Anant Asavabhokin is a property tycoon who co-founded the company Land And Houses in 1983 with his mother, Piangjai Harnpanij. The company was listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) in 1991, with Anant Asavabhokin and his family continuing to hold the largest stake. With this as his biggest asset, Asavabhokin's personal net worth was valued at about US$1.2 billion by the end of 2023.

Besides his leadership position at Land and Houses, in the past he has been the chairman for Kaewsong, LH Financial Group and Land & Houses Bank, and sits on the board of numerous companies. He is considered a source of inspiration for up-and-coming entrepreneurs, and has set the benchmark for Thai management practices.

He received an MBA from Thammasat University, an undergraduate degree from the Chulalongkorn University and a graduate degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
