Having struggled through his own mental health issues, Amornthep Sachamuneewongse founded Sati in 2018 to make mental healthcare easier to access and more affordable. Besides corporate training programmes, public education and policy research, Sati works with volunteers trained in basic psychological first aid to provide on-demand initial emotional first aid to anyone experiencing acute stress, anxiety or suicidal thoughts. The company has plans to expand to other Southeast Asian countries and the Czech Republic.
