A marine biologist and senior programme manager at Reef Check Malaysia, Alvin also helped found Tioman Marine Conservation Group. Whether it’s building responsible tourism opportunities, rescuing injured animals, cleaning oil spills, operating recycling efforts or running education and awareness sessions, Alvin helps empower Tioman islanders to protect their own ecosystem and the reefs he knows and loves.
