Perfect Corp founder Alice Chang envisioned what AI and AR could offer the beauty industry—the ability to transform physical product trials into digital experiences. Chang made her vision a reality by building the world’s leading virtual beauty platform, with more than 350 major beauty brands and retailers adopting Perfect Corp’s technology, to offer virtual try-on shopping experiences to customers across all consumer touchpoints.

Leading a talented team to marry high tech with high fashion, in 2021 Chang took AI- and AR-powered solutions to create innovative 3D virtual try-on experiences for glasses and earrings. Moreover, they developed hand mapping technology to deliver virtual try-ons for watches, bracelets, rings, and more. Alongside this, Chang also created the suite of YouCam apps, bringing the technology directly to consumers. With more than 950 million downloads globally, the YouCam apps are highly popular among casual users for editing selfies or virtually trying on the latest makeup looks and hair styles.

Prior to founding Perfect Corp., she held several executive and managerial positions, including CEO of CyberLink, Executive Vice President of Trend Micro Inc. as well as working at Citicorp Investment Bank. Chang holds an MBA from UCLA.
