Alexandra Jocom aims to take the stress out of periods. Frustrated by the limitations of existing products, she started Halia, which makes eco-friendly menstrual products from bamboo and corn fibre, including overnight pads and everyday liners which are biodegradable and body safe. The company is a member of One Percent for the Planet and donates at least 1 percent of its annual revenue to environmental causes.
