After previously working for Google and YouTube, Alex moved to Facebook and now Instagram, where he guides strategy and development. He is currently focused on IGTV and Instagram’s shopping function, and recently rolled out Instagram Lite, a version of the app that uses less data and memory, making it accessible to a wider range of Filipinos. Outside the office, he mentors young people who are interested in technology.
