Alain Huang

Co-owner and Chef, Raw

 

After graduating with a double degree from the Department of Western Culinary Arts and the Department of Baking Technology and Management at the National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism, Alain Huang worked at Simple Table Alleno Yannick and Justin's Signatures in Taipei and Restaurang Jonas by famous Swedish chef Jonas Lundgren. In November 2014, together with chefs André Chiang and Zor Tan, Alain developed French cuisine using Taiwan’s unique materials for Raw restaurant, which not only rapidly rose to fame in Taiwan but gained popularity around the world. This year, Raw ranked at No. 15 on the S.Pellegrino Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2018 list.
