An executive director of Sun Hung Kai, Hong Kong’s largest property development company, which also has interests in areas including telecoms, hotels, and infrastructure, Adam Kwok is the nephew of chairman and managing director Raymond, son of former joint chairman and managing director Thomas, and grandson of Sun Hung Kai founder Tak-seng. He worked in investment banking before he joined the family company in 2008, becoming a director in 2014.

He has run its South China property business since 2013 and acted as project director on several major residential and commercial projects. He is also a vice president of the Real Estate Developers Association of Hong Kong, a member of the Hong Kong government’s Major Sports Events Committee, a director of The Community Chest of Hong Kong, an advisor to The University of Hong Kong’s Faculty of Business and Economics, and a member of the All-China Youth Federation and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.
