Abir Abdul Rahim

Abir is the co-founder of Lean In Malaysia, a community designed to help women break through stereotypes, shatter glass ceilings, and pursue their ambitions without limitations. Initiatives like the Women Entrepreneur’s Boot Camp and other community engagements by Lean In Malaysia have linked women the industry mentorships, coaching and practical know-how to thrive in leadership positions in the workplace.

In 2023, Lean In Malaysia kicked off its Women Entrepreneur's Boot Camp, an eight-week programme that matched a cohort of more than 20 female founders with industry mentors, panel discussions and networking sessions to accelerate their business growth and leadership development. Abir has also left an indelible mark on the global stage, having spoken on women's empowerment agendas in the US, UK, Thailand, and Turkey. Her influence extends to the United Nations, where she served as one of the judges for the UN Women’s programme, the WEPs Awards Ceremony in 2021, reflecting her profound impact on advancing gender equality initiatives across borders.
