Chairman, Chang Gung Medical Foundation
Po Chu Lee is the chairman of Chang Gung Medical Foundation, which was founded in 1973 by the Formosa Plastics Group (FPG). Chang Gung, under the leadership of Lee, invested more than NT$5 billion in 2015 to establish Taiwan’s first proton and radiotherapy centre. In 2019, it began to expand to Malaysia, adding to its hospital network of eight branches. Chang Gung is also the most important holding company of Formosa Plastics Group as well as the largest single shareholder of FPG, NAN YA, and Formosa Chemicals & Fibre Corporation.
