Asador Alfonso, Cavite is well worth the trip

70km away from Manila you will meet Asador Alfonso, a design feat by co-owner and architect Carlo Calma. The property is inspired by Taal Volcano and is nestled within The Lava Rock, a 9.4 hectare family project of the Calma family.

Diners will be introduced to a restaurant with a refined and exquisite expression of Spanish fine dining fare, where stunning produce and expert cookery take centre stage. With the asador at the core of its DNA, González explains that here he and executive chef Rodrigo Osorio are able to showcase a different side to Spanish cuisine, something not yet present in the Philippines.
