Sometimes if you want something done right …

Did you know that many everyday objects were simply not designed with women in mind? For example, safety features in cars are typically built to protect an average-size man. But you would think that something like sex toys made for women would have involved a woman’s input. Apparently not. In fact, it was “industry standard to put a vibrator on the tip of your nose to feel what a clitoris would feel” ... yeah. Thankfully, women have since stepped in to take the lead, and there are now women-led brands and initiatives that prioritise female pleasure, mental health and wellbeing.

In the spirit of inclusion, we’d also like to celebrate others with a “here, let me” attitude. From environmental advocates who founded projects or organisations that are saving our oceans, to women in Asia who are using surfing to raise awareness for sustainability, gender equality, body positivity and more, enjoy learning about those who are taking matters into their own hands.

Other newsletter highlights this week:

Have a bangin’ weekend, Tatler readers, and happy Friday!
