Meet Hannah Bhatt, the creative mind behind ceramic studio Uncanny Valley and Pocket Pickle
Hannah Bhatt’s work is instantly recognisable—whether it’s eerie faces looking out from ceramic sculptures, or bright pink pickleball courts popping up in unlikely locations.
But to those unfamiliar with Bhatt, it may come as a surprise that these two highly creative and eye-catching concepts have come from the same person. We speak to the artist about the invisible threads that connect her disparate work projects.

Roger Federer exclusive interview: a man and his mountains
At Tatler, we have the pleasure of meeting some truly remarkable people whose excellence shines through, even if that meeting takes place in the less than remarkable setting of a hotel conference room, for example. But when we’re able to meet these people on their home turf, in their element, there’s an added touch of magic.
We meet Swiss tennis legend Roger Federer in one of the most breathtaking settings imaginable—Emmetten, a picturesque mountain village in the Swiss canton of Nidwalden, on a sunny terrace overlooking the crystal waters of Lake Lucerne.

The history of mooncakes and why we eat them

Inside Central Crossing: Foster + Partners Hong Kong’s most complex heritage project
Central Crossing represents a test case for heritage preservation in one of the world’s most densely populated cities. The mixed-use development in Hong Kong’s Central district combines 433,000 square feet of new construction with the restoration of Grade 1 and Grade 3 heritage buildings, including one of the city’s oldest surviving shophouses.
The project sits between three heritage sites: Tai Kwun, PMQ, and Central Market, on Wellington Street between Graham and Cochrane Streets. Wing Tai Properties and CSI Properties are developing the site, with Foster + Partners serving as master architect for the dual-tower structure scheduled for completion in mid-2026. Michael Jones, the Senior Partner overseeing the project, has spent three decades working on adaptive reuse of historic buildings, including London’s Great Court at the British Museum and the Stirling Prize-winning Bloomberg Headquarters.
