A Grand Scale
“The fun thing when dealing with young clients is their openness to new ideas,” enthuses Nik Ida Juliana, founder and managing director of IDent_3. And this house certainly displays an abundance of youthful brio in its touches of drama and dynamism.
The clients—a young couple with two small children—focused on 5-star hotel interiors as the inspiration for their overall theme, but they were also enthusiastic about exploring different ways in which to translate the grand hotel aesthetic into day-to-day living.
The result is a coherent, timeless design that allows for the various glamorous elements to work together in a balanced way.

Real life ‘Baby Reindeer’? What to do if you’re being stalked
In 2023, landmark legislation was passed to criminalise stalking in Malaysia. Section 507A of the Penal Code was introduced in April 2023 to criminalise the act of stalking, which activists say disproportionately affects women compared to men.
Before the passing of this anti-stalking law in the Penal Code, victims who attempted to report a stalker to the police had little legal grounds to seek protection and prosecute the offenders.
Countless individuals have been affected physically and psychologically by the crime of stalking, from prominent personalities like songstress and radio announcer Dasha Logan, singer-songwriter Talitha Tan, and photographer Acacia Diana, to students, working adults, and women who have come out of abusive relationships. We look into what to do if you’re being stalked.

Edgardo Osorio, founder of Aquazzura, on crafting exquisite moments, one step at a time
In the world of luxury footwear, few brands have captivated the imagination of fashion enthusiasts like Aquazzura. At the helm is Edgardo Osorio, the Colombian-born, Miami-raised visionary who launched the label in 2011 with a mission to create beautiful yet comfortable shoes that allow women to dance the night away.
“I started Aquazzura after attending 12 weddings one summer and constantly hearing complaints about sore feet,” Osorio shares. “I realised there was a gap for sexy, well-crafted shoes you could actually enjoy wearing.” His solution married Italian craftsmanship with a vibrant, modern aesthetic reflecting his globetrotting lifepath.
