Meet some of the athletes representing Hong Kong at the Olympic Games Paris 2024

The Paris Olympic Games 2024 are just around the corner and some of the world’s best athletes are preparing to bring their A-game. Hong Kong, which won six medals at the last Olympics, will try to on this legacy this year, with at least thirty-five Hongkongers headed to France to represent the city.

From veterans such as fencer Edgar Cheung Ka-long and swimmer Siobhán Haughey to new names you might not have heard of but need to know, these are the Hong Kong athletes to look out for in Paris. These Games are a great excuse to travel to Europe and France—and stay at some of these celebs’ favourite luxury hotels. It’s an especially exciting destination as the country has recently been shining a light on sustainability and women’s empowerment initiatives; just look at this year’s Cannes Festival. However, if flying to L’Hexagone isn’t in your plans, perhaps you can bring a little France to your breakfast table; Tatler’s French editors recommend their favourite croissants around Hong Kong.
