With increasing awareness about the importance of mental well-being, the demand for accessible and effective mental health services has surged in the past few years, leading to the establishment of more mental health clinics and centres in the country.
We list some clinics, centres, and organisations around Metro Manila that cater to our mental health needs and help us access the support we deserve within the community.

1. St Luke’s Medical Center
St Luke’s Department of Psychiatry was established to address the increasing demand of patients to seek psychiatric help due to traumatic events, addiction to drugs, alcohol, and gaming, and rising incidences of depression and anxiety. It offers the following services: addiction counselling, geriatric psychiatry services, a mood and anxiety disorder clinic, stress management packages, consultation-liaison psychiatry, and child and adolescent psychiatry.
2. Makati Medical Center

The Medical City is one of the few private tertiary hospitals that offers complete psychiatric care through its Psychiatry Unit. The 21-bed facility is located on the lower ground floor and is composed of medical staff who are trained to handle psychiatric emergencies and various psychopathologies.

Founded in 2007, the Natasha Goulbourn Foundation is a nonprofit organisation dedicated to educating people about depression through educational lectures, confidential crisis lines, and referrals to partner psychologists.
Hopeline Philippines is its flagship programme, a hub whose primary goal is to raise awareness about the recognition, prevention, and intervention of depression.

The National Centre for Mental Health delivers preventive, curative, and rehabilitative mental health care services. On January 30, 1987, it was categorised as a Special Research Training Center and Hospital under the Department of Health.
