Clinique de Paris
Clinique de Paris offers cutting-edge hair transplant technology for natural results and minimal downtime
Different people seek a hair transplant for varied reasons. There’s the young professional entering a new chapter of his or her career or that someone in their wiser years wanting to realise his or her best self again. There’s no one good reason but all are valid and equally important. What matters is that they take that first step toward taking control of their roots. For over a decade, Clinique de Paris has been offering a variety of advanced treatments to support its clients on this journey, and its latest flagship clinic in Makati awaits with open doors.

“The hair at the back of the scalp is genetically programmed to never fall off,” Dr Rafael Fortus, Clinique de Paris medical director, explains. “So when you take those individual hairs and place them onto an area of concern, they retain that characteristic.” This is the reason why a hair transplant is permanent—and highly sought-after. Clinique de Paris exclusively utilises a method called direct hair implantation (DHI), in which each hair is carefully and expertly placed by a doctor. “This allows the surgeon full control over the direction, the density, the depth,” Dr Fortus says. “It’s akin to making a tapestry every single day. It does take a few hours, but it takes time for a masterpiece to be completed.”
The result is a scar-free, natural-looking hairline with virtually minimal downtime. “Once the hair grows through, you cannot visually see where they were removed from,” Dr Fortus explains. “The hair at the back is layered, almost like roof tiles or scales, so when you remove a certain percentage, visually, there’s no change.” The defining feature of Clinique de Paris is its ability to create a natural, feathered finish to make the hairline as natural as possible.

Another option offered at Clinique de Paris is platelet mesotherapy (PMT), a regenerative and minimally invasive treatment that uses the body’s platelets to stimulate hair follicles. Instead of transferring individual hairs, PMT promotes hair growth and even reawakens long-dormant spots. It is an effective answer against early-stage hair loss or as a boost to previous treatments. Convenience is another advantage: The procedure itself only takes 45 minutes, with no downtime and bruising. “Regardless of the size of the DHI procedure, [patients] will wear a bandage for about a day,” Dr Fortus explains. “Then, they will typically be able to return to light exercise within a week and heavy exertions or contact sports in two weeks. Since there are no stitches, they don’t need to go back to get [them] removed. Recovery from hair transplants is easier than ever before.”
The aftercare provided by Clinique de Paris is a testament to its thoughtfulness. Direct contact channels communicate with patients and accompany them through every step of the way, even long after they’ve left the clinic. “There are always questions,” managing director Ludovic Branellec explains. “They might forget some things, so it’s reassuring to them that they have this hotline to talk to the doctor who did the procedure.” Clinique de Paris combines its personal, hands-on approach with proven and effective treatments to deliver the service its clientele deserves. Embarking on a hair transplant journey—especially for the first time—can be intimidating. But it is a road you won’t have to walk alone.
