At the centre of The Apurva Kempinski Bali’s year-long campaign is the Spice Route Voyage. In partnership with Yacht Sourcing (Indonesia’s foremost yachting company and devoted custodian of the nation's maritime traditions), the resort has crafted a seven-day journey aboard handcrafted phinisi schooners, built by skilled artisans from Sulawesi using shipbuilding techniques centuries in the making. Over five days at sea, guests navigate seasonally curated itineraries through some of the most storied and rarely visited waters in the world: the legendary Clove Islands of North Maluku, the Banda Islands (once the world's sole source of nutmeg) and the maritime kingdoms of South Sulawesi and East Nusa Tenggara.

The voyage then concludes on land with two nights at the Nusantara Presidential Villa. What follows is a curated line-up of experiences for up to six guests, including an afternoon tea experience and a relaxing session at Apurva Spa.

Pala Restaurant & Rooftop Bar, perched beside a long reflecting pool, offers live cooking stations with local and international flavours by day, before transforming into a sophisticated rooftop bar come sundown. And for those occasions when you’re craving serenity by the sea, there’s Reef Beach Club’s casual beachfront dining for an effortless barefoot luxury as you take a dip in the 42-metre infinity pool.
