As part of its relaunch, Mandarin Oriental Singapore has unveiled a new signature fan, in collaboration with celebrated Singaporean artist Hans Tan. The latest fan pays homage to the city’s rich history through delicate design motifs such as Peranakan batik designs and elegant floral patterns. Vibrant hues of pink and green have been used to represent the colour palette of Peranakan culture while also complementing the hotel’s green facade and pink interiors. The new fan takes on a ceramic form curated from an intricate resist blasting technique.
