Following a massive project that took four months, the luxury hotels’ highly anticipated Lemon Garden, new grand ballroom and function rooms are finally reopened.

For as long as we can remember, Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur has had a rock solid reputation for being one of the top luxury hotels in Malaysia and for providing an exceptional guest experience.

The award-winning hotel has been a pioneer in the industry since 1985 and it recently underwent a major upgrade to refresh its look and feel.

The Lemon Garden, ballrooms and function rooms all underwent a complete renovation that took four months and they're finally open for business again.

Here’s what you can expect from the new refurbishments.

The fan favourite Lemon Garden has been completely transformed to a more inviting and cosy outlet. Designed by Bond Design Studio Inc from Japan, it’s easy to spot the oriental influences in the new interior. The walls are lined with framed glass while the ceiling features pendant lights and yellow light orbs. The outdoor section features a relaxing garden terrace and alfresco dining area overlooking a koi pond and water fountain.
