From design-led stays and acclaimed dining to wellness programmes and residential-style living, Pan Pacific Hotels Group presents a contemporary expression of luxury—one shaped by how today’s travellers want to experience the city

For much of its history, luxury hospitality relied on a simple proposition: more. Bigger suites, grander lobbies and ever more elaborate displays of indulgence. Today, that formula is no longer enough. A hotel is expected to have a point of view—one that shapes its design, informs its hospitality and reframes how guests experience a city.

Few portfolios capture that evolution as convincingly as Pan Pacific Hotels Group. Across its eight Singapore hotels and serviced suites, the group has assembled a collection where each address offers its own expression of graceful Asian hospitality, inviting guests to discover the city through design, gastronomy, wellbeing and local culture.

Named to Prix Versailles’ 2024 World Selection of the World’s Most Beautiful Hotels, Pan Pacific Orchard rejects the familiar glass tower in favour of four stacked environments—Forest, Beach, Garden and Cloud. Designed by award-winning Singapore design firm Woha, each interprets tropical living through a different interplay of planting, materials and spatial design. Together, they draw greenery deep into the building, replacing enclosed floors with open-air landscapes in one of Singapore’s most intensely urban settings.

That architectural vision extends well beyond the façade. Its 347 guestrooms, loft rooms and suites take their cues from the terrace they occupy, shifting from the relaxed, resort-like mood of the Beach Terrace to the luminous calm of the Cloud Terrace. Nowhere is this more immediate than in the Beach Club Pool Access Lofts, where guests can step directly from their room into the swimming pool—an unexpected note of resort life in the heart of Orchard Road.

The Art of Dining

As Pan Pacific Singapore celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, it endures as one of the city’s most established culinary addresses. The recognisable exterior with its glass capsule lifts overlooking the city complements the dramatic atrium interior popularised by architect John Portman. Perched on the 38th floor with 360 degree views of the city and bay area, the Pacific Club Lounge sits above a collection of restaurants and bars ranging from Cantonese favourite Hai Tien Lo to the contemporary bar, Plume. Among them, Edge pairs premium ingredients with the theatre of live cooking stations, while gourmet all-day café Pacific Emporium celebrates Singapore’s signature flavours alongside pastries and artisanal produce.

One of Singapore’s oldest Japanese restaurants, Keyaki turns dining into a destination, serving seasonal kaiseki, omakase, sushi and teppanyaki within a Kyoto-inspired garden complete with a koi pond and pavilion. Four decades on, the hotel still understands that some of Singapore’s most memorable discoveries begin at the table.

Nature, Built in

Known as Singapore’s first “garden in a hotel”, Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay introduces more than 2,400 trees, shrubs and plants from more than 60 varieties of flora into its soaring atrium, softening the steel-and-glass landscape of Marina Bay with an indoor garden that doubles as a natural air purifier.

The hotel’s Urban Farm anchors its farm-to-table philosophy at buffet restaurant Peppermint, supplying herbs, edible flowers and vegetables harvested just steps from the kitchen. Complementing this is its flagship, award-winning Chinese restaurant Peach Blossoms, led by executive chef Edward Chong. A One-Diamond recipient in the 2025 Black Pearl Restaurant Guide, it is a masterclass in modern Chinese fare. Farm produce also infuses botanical cocktails at Portman’s Bar, and inspires the treatments at St. Gregory spa. It is a rare instance of a wellness experience growing, quite literally, from the property itself.

Green from Within

Awarded the One Michelin Key in 2025 and 2026, Parkroyal Collection Pickering is a biophilic landmark of cascading sky gardens and terraced greenery that wears its environmental ambitions on its façade. Inspired by rice terraces and the contours of natural landscapes, the building returns 15,000sqm of greenery to the city—more than twice its land area—making sustainability something guests can see rather than simply read about.

The greenery is only part of the story. Behind the cascading gardens, rainwater harvesting, rooftop solar panels and sensor-led irrigation work to reduce the hotel’s footprint. That approach continues through naturally ventilated guestroom corridors, recycled composite-granite countertops, refillable amenities and filtered-water dispensers, while floor-to-ceiling windows frame the skyline or gardens and draw natural light into the rooms.

Living Heritage

Parkroyal on Beach Road opens onto Kampong Glam, one of Singapore’s richest cultural quarters. Beyond its doors, the neighbourhood rewards wandering, from the indie boutiques of Haji Lane, and Arab Street’s textile merchants to the golden-domed Sultan Mosque and its rows of conservation shophouses in the district’s own take on Peranakan style. The hotel sits inside that living story and is a natural choice for culturally curious travellers.

The neighbourhood continues within the hotel itself. Works by local artists including Iskandar Jalil, Chua Ek Kay and Kenneth Lee Chee Weng appear across its public spaces and guestrooms, while complimentary weekly tours introduce guests to Kampong Glam’s history beyond its familiar landmarks. After a day exploring the district, the newly refreshed Wellness Floor offers a change of pace, with St. Gregory spa, a gymnasium, wellness studio, swimming pool and poolside lounge overlooking the skyline.

The City, Lived In

For travellers spending longer in Singapore, Pan Pacific Hotels Group’s serviced suites offer a more residential expression of luxury, pairing the comforts of home with the service and amenities of a five-star stay. In Kampong Glam, two properties offer different ways to settle into this historic quarter.

At Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Beach Road, the neighbourhood becomes an extension of home. One- and two-bedroom suites feature fully equipped kitchens, separate living and dining areas, and wide city views, while the surrounding stretch of Kampong Glam, and the neighbourhood’s cafés and restaurants becomes part of everyday life. A rooftop pool, 24-hour fitness centre and residents’ lounge add to the ease of an extended stay.

Nearby, Parkroyal Serviced Suites Singapore suits travellers whose plans take them further afield. Bugis, Marina Bay, Suntec City, Chinatown and Orchard are all within easy reach, while a complimentary shuttle connects key business, retail and leisure districts. Apartment-style living is complemented by access to the pool and fitness facilities at the adjacent Parkroyal on Beach Road, making the property a convenient base for moving between work, dining and exploring the city.

For those who prefer Orchard Road as a home base, Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Orchard brings residential living to the heart of one of Asia’s best-known shopping districts. From spacious one- and two-bedroom suites to duplex penthouses, it pairs panoramic city views with fully equipped kitchenettes, generous living spaces and gracious hospitality.

Minutes from Orchard Road’s flagship boutiques, restaurants and offices, the property also features a hydrotherapeutic spa, outdoor pool, 24-hour fitness centre and The Living Room residents’ lounge, rounding out a stay centred on space, privacy and proximity to the city’s retail heart.

Singapore is a city of many identities, unfolding differently according to where—and how long—one stays, and the strongest hotel portfolios recognise that there is no single way to feel its pulse. By offering stays that speak to different desires—from fleeting escapes to extended sojourns—Pan Pacific Hotels Group suggests that modern luxury is, at its core, the freedom to experience the city fully, authentically and on one’s own terms.
