Come January, check out the pop-up version of Please Don’t Tell at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong.

Not all watering holes in Singapore are created equal. There are the easy-to-find ones, then there are the slightly more playful ones that require guests to either a) spell out a password for access (cue The Library) or b) embark on a serious search for the place (example: The Horse’s Mouth where guests enter via a secret entrance in Uma Uma Ramen).

So, if you’re a fan of this new wave of hide and seek bars, you might just want to book a trip to Hong Kong to check out one of New York’s coolest bars, Please Don’t Tell (PDT). The Landmark Mandarin Oriental and WORLD CLASS, the luxury collection of spirits from Diageo RESERVE, have collaborated to bring a pop-up version of PDT from 5 to 30 January 2016. Named PDT HK, guests will enter via a hidden phone booth located at the hotel’s MO Bar.

Inside, the familiar setting of PDT New York sets the mood for many nights of enjoying countless cocktails. Speaking of drinks, the PDT’s founder, Jim Meehan, General Manager, Jeff Bell, and WORLD CLASS USA Bartender of the Year 2013, Nick Brown, will be there to offer an exclusive 12 cocktail menu – featuring a mix of the PDT’s classic drinks and new creations that are made specifically for this trip.

So, what can you look forward to? Well, there’s the savoury Benton’s Old Fashioned (prepped with bacon-infused Bulleit Bourbon), tangy Cardinal (dressed with a splash of grapefruit and lemon juice) and refreshing 1-2 Punch (with citrus oleo-saccharum) making sure there is truly something for everyone.

With good drinks, of course we’ll expect equally good food and foodie fans, you are in luck. Hong Kong’s most creative chefs (Matt Abergel, Jowett Yu, Ho Lee Fook, Alvin Leung), and Chef Richard Ekkebus, Director of Culinary Operations & Food and Beverage at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong, have also been enlisted to invent their own version of New York’s most famous street food, hot dogs, and with all proceeds going to charity, who could resist.
