The highly Instagrammable Museum of Ice Cream will welcome visitors in the second half of 2021, while new attractions such as the Slingshot and Skyhelix Sentosa will also open later this year and in 2022 respectively

Four new attractions are opening in Singapore from this year onwards, including the highly Instagram-worthy Museum of Ice Cream that will welcome fans in Singapore soon.

The US-based attraction is famous for its millennial-friendly interactive experiences and has attracted legions of fans including celebrities such as the Kardashians, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, David Beckham and more. Their Singapore outpost will be its first location outside of the US.

It will be open to the public in the second half of 2021 within the lush Dempsey area.

News of this new attraction comes as chief executive of the Singapore Tourism Board Keith Tan announced at its annual Tourism Industry Conference today that there will be new projects in development to boost Singapore’s tourism sector.

Another tourist attraction to open later this year is Slingshot, a thrill ride in Clarke Quay, and it will reportedly by the tallest in Asia.

Over in Sentosa island, beachgoers and visitors alike will get to enjoy a brand new attraction at the Skyhelix Sentosa, Singapore’s first open-air panoramic attraction slated to open in 2022. It will be located a short walk from Sentosa's cable car station.

Finally, there will also be a new attraction in the heart of Orchard Road, specifically within the vacant site between Somerset Skate Park and Killiney Road.

According to Mr Tan, STB will continue to refresh tourism attractions and precincts in Singapore in addition to the upcoming projects and attractions.
