Pack your bags and escape reality. Where we’re going, we don’t need to worry
Typhoon Odette ravaged the island of Siargao in December of 2021, severely damaging the luxurious Nay Palad Island Resort. But former owner and founder of outdoor furniture brand DEDON, Bobby Dekeyser, saw this as an opportunity to rebuild and come out stronger. Dekeyser, with his daughter Carolin, innovative architect Daniel Pouzet, Herve and Tess Lampert, and Vince Lampert, reimagined the meaning of grandeur and created Nay Palad Hideaway. The result? A whole new world of barefoot luxury where guests can experience a different take on hospitality, freedom, and beauty that you can never know until you’ve experienced it.

Nestled between the verdant mangrove forests and Siargao’s fine white sands, Nay Palad Hideaway has a myriad of activities you can enjoy depending on your taste. Each day is a different adventure from tropical jungles and underground caves to Siargao’s untouched beaches and the iconic barreling waves of Cloud 9.
Want something more relaxed? Maybe you want to drink a refreshing cocktail or two while gazing at the sunset-painted horizon or perhaps have a quiet heart-to-heart session by the fire. All you have to do is ask.
Reality shifts as soon as you land at Siargao’s Sayak Domestic Airport and have yourself welcomed by Nay Palad’s guest relations team. From there, you’re a 40-minute custom jeepney ride away from the resort, and if you prefer, they can also arrange a private air charter from Cebu.
Once you pass through the gates of Nay Palad Hideaway, you leave all your troubles at the door. This is a place to get in touch with yourself while you’re sipping on some piña coladas by the beach. If you want privacy or the life of the party, it can be arranged. If you want to walk into the kitchen to see what’s cooking or mix your drink at the bar, you can do it. You can also enjoy their sumptuous food or get a massage. From here on out, everything you want is yours.

Sustainable Luxury

Above Biking on the Island
Nay Palad Hideaway was built with preservation in mind. An oasis of timeless beauty and lush greenery, whatever activity you decide to do, nature always surrounds you. With seamless integration with the environment, every amenity and structure is constructed using only local materials.
The delicacies you’ll enjoy are sourced from its small vegetable and herbs garden, where local farmers and fishermen ensure a low carbon footprint.
Hideaway Activities
Want to take the barefoot luxury experience out to sea? Set sail on their 37-foot teak-trimmed cruiser and visit neighbouring islands. You could also engage in some deep-sea fishing and eat what you catch. Whatever adventure you choose, you’ll be accompanied by sun umbrellas, a cooler, and comfy beach chairs to kick your feet up as you enjoy the calm ocean breeze.
If you want to go inland, you can take a chauffeured tour of Siargao in a van or jeepney. Explore the local scenery and points of natural beauty. Though exploring the island takes four to five hours, you can stop whenever you feel like it.
You can visit the spa village if you want a relaxing time. A space dedicated to peace and well-being, physical or mental, guests are in for a spa experience that exceeds world-class. It’s difficult to describe the sense of serenity and wonderment one would feel at Nay Palad, but when you’re sipping tea in the treetop nest after your traditional hilot massage, you’ll know exactly what I mean.
And if you think that your kids won’t enjoy the vacation, you’ll be surprised to find an entire village dedicated to them! The Children’s Village has trampolines, swings, slides, and tree houses to play on.
At night, when you want a cosy time with your loved ones, you can pick any film you like by the pool (or in it). You project your movie onto a massive screen tied to two coconut palm trees.
There's plenty more to see in Nay Palad Hideaway. But reading about it won't be enough; you'll have to experience the rest of it! Watch out for flights as it aims to reopen by June 2023.
