Jacques Garcia’s signature style will be evident in all of the hotel’s 41 guestrooms, all of which will see sculpture, art and photography reign throughout.

A new hotel is making its way to add colour the local Singaporean travel itinery as soon as this September and it is none other than Hotel Vagabond, the first luxury boutique hotel in Singapore, designed by celebrated designer Jacques Garcia. If his name seems familiar, he is the designer best known for his design of the renowned Hotel Costes in Paris.
The new hotel is the first of a series of luxury boutique hotels under the new Garcha Hotels collections by Satinder Garcha. Set to reinvigorate the Singapore hotel scene, Hotel Vagabond is the first property of its kind with an ‘Artist in Residence’ programme.
The programme will see two spacious, light-filled Atelier Rooms built into the hotel, designed specifically for the purpose of hosting an evolving range of local and international artists, with the goal of positioning Hotel Vagabond as a mecca for the Singapore art scene that has been stealthily making a name for itself with countless international exhibitions and fairs.
The new hotel will open to business in Kampong Glam, nestled between Little India and the Arab Quarter, where guests will be able to explore a unique neighbourhood and still only be 5 minutes away from the Central Business District.

Jacques Garcia’s signature style will be evident in all of the hotel’s 41 guestrooms, all of which will see sculpture, art and photography reign throughout. Interiors are aimed at being homely and welcoming, with classic Garcia touches evident through ample darkwood and gold furnishings backed by rich red backgrounds.
Taking centrestage at the hotel will be a carefully curated art collection, hand-selected by Satinder Garcha himself. Artists like Julia Calfee, Marco Brambilla, Michael Platnic, Marco Lopez and Leon Ferrari are all in the lineup of a uniquely diverse exhibition.
Step into a realm of old-world hospitality, extraordinary aesthetics and, most importantly, a fun-filled artistic environment at Hotel Vagabond.
