The Peak's Fitness Club is a sky-high wellness haven. High-tech equipment, expert trainers, and an array of complimentary classes come together with a stunning view of London that serves as the perfect motivation. This comes with access to the Members Club lounge, a space to relax or work with great views, along with drinks and dishes served all day.

The hotel also embraces families with interconnected rooms available on request. Cots or extra beds can be placed in the rooms and suites. There are also specially crafted children's menus at the hotel’s dining venues and children aged up to 12 can also enjoy complimentary breakfasts. The pool can be accessed by children at designated times.

Al Mare, with its soft lighting and relaxed ambience, serves up a medley of Mediterranean dishes inspired by the French Riviera and Northern Italy. For lunch, I sipped an easy-going Italian red wine and feasted on diver scallops embellished with a savoury zabaglione and served with seasonal green and white asparagus. Then, homemade tagliolini, paired with Mazara del Vallo prawns, burrata cheese, oyster leaf, Amalfi lemon zest, and samphire is flavourful but rich, yearning for more zest or juice to cut through the decadence, while a more balanced dessert of velvety chocolate mousse with tropical sorbet finishes the meal.

At The Chinoiserie’s tea room, the British tradition of afternoon tea is reimagined by Jessica Prealpato who was named The World's Best Pastry Chef 2019. Finding inspiration in the flora of British gardens, she ​​presents A Tribute to Nature, a creative menu that makes use of locally sourced English produce in healthier, low-calorie sandwiches and savoury tartlets—some slightly underseasoned—as well as sweet pastries and unexpected scone pairings including Ceylon cinnamon with banana and lime and dried hibiscus with raspberry and tarragon, leading you to rethink what afternoon tea can be.
