From personalised shopping to a chauffeured limousine straight to the plane, these high-end services at Hong Kong International Airport take luxury travel to new heights
Whether you’re arriving at or departing from a destination, your airport experience can set the tone for the journey. At Hong Kong International Airport, a series of thoughtful VIP services are available to ensure a seamless travel experience.
Making even the most mundane processes faster and easier so you can begin your adventure in comfort and style, these services reflect the spirit of Hong Kong’s unmatched convenience and efficiency, and its anything-is-possible attitude.
If you’ve ever wondered how the city’s most prominent VIPs travel, we’re here to let you in on a few of their secrets.
Suite spot
Skip the stress—and the crowds—of the usual departure process and waiting at the gate to board your flight. Instead, imagine completing immigration and security checks from the comfort of a private lounge, and arriving at your plane in a chauffeured limousine.
These are just some of the perks of the HKIA VIP Lounge, which is one of the best-kept secrets among Hong Kong’s jetsetting elite. Other perks include luxurious shower and resting facilities, personalised shopping services for you to purchase luxury fashion pieces or souvenirs in advance, and made-to-order cuisine that includes Cantonese comfort foods like wonton noodles and dim sum—giving you one last taste of Hong Kong before you begin your journey. For those driving to the airport, a better-than-your-average valet parking service is available. Simply pass your keys to the airport staff, and pick up your car at the lounge upon your return.
The HKIA VIP Lounge’s most luxurious offering is the Premiere Suite package, which includes services for up to three guests—plus free access for up to two children 11 years old and under—with access to a stylish private suite with its own shower and resting facilities.
Tatler tip: If you’re travelling for a special occasion, such as an anniversary or birthday, let the lounge staff know ahead of time. For an additional fee, they can decorate your private lounge.
From door to destination

Passengers travelling on participating airlines—which include Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong Airlines and Greater Bay Airlines—have exclusive access to Hong Kong International Airport’s Home Baggage Check-in Service.
A step above Hong Kong’s in-town check-in, this service allows passengers to “check in” their luggage at home, at their hotel or the office. Up to five hours before your flight, an agent will arrive at the designated pick-up address to carry out the process—which takes a swift 15 minutes—before it’s whisked away to your flight. This allows you to go on with your day without worry, whether that means experiencing more of the city or attending important meetings and events.
For peace of mind, you can keep an eye on your belongings’ whereabouts with real-time tracking that lets you know when your luggage has safely arrived at HKIA.

Shop to your heart’s content, whether you’re in search of the perfect Chanel sunglasses for your tropical holiday, a Bottega Veneta bag for a chic night out, a classic Louis Vuitton stole (the quintessential luxury travel must-have) or an elegant gift from Jaeger-LeCoultre.
Adding another layer of thoughtful service and convenience, Luxury Concierge can organise for your purchased items to be delivered to your boarding gate on purchases of HK$1,000 or more, and free delivery to as many as 15 international destinations for purchases of HK$2,500 or more.
