Just a short ferry ride from Hong Kong Island, Lamma Island is one of the best weekend getaways for those looking for a change of pace.

Cheung Chau

Peng Chau

Peng Chau, located northeast of Lantau, is a tiny, one square kilometre island that’s best known for its temples and seafood. The entire island is navigable within an hour’s walk, so there’s no reason not to take in all the sights.
Tai Long Wan

Found on the east coast of the Sai Kung Peninsula, Tai Long Wan may not strictly be an island, but the coastal area is famed for its stunning beaches – Sai Wan, Ham Tin Wan, Tai Wan and Tung Wan.
Offering some of the clearest water and whitest sand you'll find without hoping on a plane, it's the perfect destination for a weekend trip, or even an overnight camping adventure.
