A chic Dior Spa on board Eastern & Oriental Express will launch this month, offering decadent facial and body treatments

Eastern & Oriental Express, a Belmond Train, made a triumphant return earlier this year, following a four-year hiatus, during which it underwent a spectacular refurbishment.

Now, its forest green, gold-accented carriages—stamped with the iconic tiger motif—are back on track. Housed in one of those carriages is a fabulous new addition to Eastern & Oriental's luxury slow-travel experience—a Dior Spa.

Launching this month, Dior Spa Eastern & Oriental Express will feature the House of Dior’s iconic canework whilst taking inspiration from the beauty of Southeast Asia: think hand-crafted tropical wood materials, and rose emblems on the carriage carpets in shades of green and beige.

Dior Spa Eastern & Oriental Express comprises a chic reception area, which expands into two private treatment rooms. The calming space features dark wood, brass and the same Art Deco feel that is consistent throughout the luxury train.

The spa furniture and textiles are adorned in a bespoke rendition the iconic Dior Toile de Jouy print, featuring a tiger as a nod to the big cat's significance in the region.

The spa's treatment menu features five treatments, devised by the French Maison’s dedicated wellness experts to suit the specific needs of the train’s guests.

D-Jungle, for example, is a face and body treatment that includes a rhythmic massage from head  to toe, performed using stretching techniques and targeting specific energy points. Drawing inspiration from Asian beauty rituals, on-board facial treatments seamlessly blend traditional Asian techniques with the decadent Dior Prestige skincare line. Like the Kobi-Dior Facial Treatment, which includes a facial massage rooted in the ancient Japanese Kobido massage technique to sculpt and rejuvenate the skin.

For an evening wind-down, Le Soin de Minuit incorporates meditative exercises designed to promote deep sleep and optimise skin regeneration for a glowing complexion by morning.
