If palatial accommodation, epicurean feasts and unforgettable sea voyages are your holiday requisites, here’s the experience you won’t want to miss

Come November this year, those who have been eagerly awaiting the newest experience in luxury cruises will at last be able to relish it. The highly anticipated Seven Seas Grandeur is finally ready to welcome her first guests and unveil her luxurious, grand interiors that have been the subject of much discussion and admiration in the industry.

The ship is the latest addition to “The World’s Most Luxurious Fleet”, a claim upheld and made famous by Regent Seven Seas Cruises. The fleet comprises six magnificent cruise ships—each boasting her own unique mix of opulence and class, coupled with unrivalled standards of service.

Serving as Godmother to the ship is Sarah Fabergé, founding member of The Fabergé Heritage Council.

Seven Seas Grandeur is designed by award-winning hospitality design firm Studio DADO and built by famed Italian cruise-ship specialist Fincantieri, which are among the very best in hospitality interiors and ship-building, respectively. Naturally, Seven Seas Grandeur will exceed expectations, whether in terms of lavish spaces and personalised service, exceptional cuisine or transformative experiences. All these, and more, await guests with a taste for the finest in life on board the luxury ship.

The stay is a big part of the luxury travel experience—even more so on a cruise—and anyone who has ever travelled on Regent’s fleet knows that no one else does luxe accommodation with the group’s unique flair. Take your pick of elegant, stylishly appointed suites across 15 accommodation categories on Seven Seas Grandeur—from the palatial, US$11,000-a-night Regent Suite, to the contemporary Distinctive Suites and the stylish Deluxe Veranda Suites.

There are sights on board to stun too, beyond the suites. Seven Seas Grandeur will also be home to a multi-million-dollar art collection, the pièce de résistance of which is a custom-designed masterpiece—Journey in Jewels, the first Fabergé Egg to permanently reside at sea.

With a gross tonnage of 55,500 and catering to only 746 guests, Seven Seas Grandeur will provide one of the highest space ratios and staff-to-guest ratios in the industry. This translates to more personal space for each and every guest, along with sky-high standards of service, which are already a given on every ship in the Regent fleet.

Epicurean delights await at a selection of specialty dining restaurants—French dining at the Art Deco-inspired Chartreuse, classic steakhouse cuisine at Prime 7 and authentic Pan-Asian cuisine at Pacific Rim. Regent’s signature Compass Rose restaurant will also dazzle with spectacular interiors that recreate the ambience of a beautiful enchanted forest.

Signature steakhouse Prime 7 is sure to delight with its tantalising selection of succulent USDA prime beef cuts including prime New York strip, porterhouse, filet mignon and more. These cuts have been dry-aged for 28 days to ensure the best taste and tenderness. On top of these mouthwatering cuts, the steakhouse is sure to impress with its captivating interiors.

Designed by Studio DADO, the space takes inspiration from classic New York steakhouses at the turn of the 19th and 20th century. Step in and be greeted with a wall of antique travel cases, classic black and white photography, stitched ceilings and fashion-inspired furniture.

“Studio DADO’s re-imagined Prime 7 plays into a joyful sense of curiosity and nostalgia with the delicate craftsmanship that is woven throughout the space,” president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises Andrea DeMarco shares.

Seven Seas Grandeur’s first sailing will be on 25 November, when she goes across the Atlantic on a 14-night passage from Barcelona in Spain to Miami in Florida. Subsequently, she will also traverse 18 voyages in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, as well as two fascinating transatlantic crossings, all ranging from seven to 16 nights in length.

The inaugural voyage collection includes a new maiden sailing – added due to strong demand – which spends seven nights discovering the Adriatic and Western Mediterranean from Venice (Trieste) in Italy to Barcelona in Spain. Visit rssc.com now to find out more or make your booking.
