This Singaporean multinational hospitality brand has announced its new name, Banyan Group, and unveiled 19 new properties

Whether you’re an avid traveller or not, many of us would probably have enduring memories of family holidays spent in one of Banyan Tree Group’s many resorts. After all, this Singaporean multinational hospitality brand is one of the most beloved in the region, with luxurious properties spanning from Phuket to Maldives.

This year, the brand is celebrating its 30th anniversary by evolving its corporate umbrella brand from Banyan Tree Group to Banyan Group. According to President and chief executive officer of Banyan Group Eddy See, the exciting brand shift reflects the company’s portfolio transformation from a “single luxury brand to the diverse offerings we have today”.
