Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned player, these local clubs make it easy to pick up a racket, meet new people and enjoy a game of padel

Padel has been one of the fastest-growing racquet sports worldwide, and Malaysia is catching the wave. Played primarily as a doubles game on a smaller court with glass walls, padel is easy to pick up but rewarding to master, attracting players of all ages and fitness levels.

Its social nature—nearly always played in pairs, with rallies that encourage teamwork and camaraderie—has helped it spread beyond traditional racquet-sport circles. Locally, more courts, clubs and organised events are popping up across the Klang Valley.

Whether you’re seeking friendly competition, social connections or just a new way to stay active, Malaysia’s padel communities are making it easier than ever to pick up a racket, join a game and become part of a sport that’s as social as it is fun. These groups organise open play sessions, social matches, leagues and meet-ups that welcome newcomers.

Padel Société

Padel Société started as small social sessions and has grown into a lively community bringing players together across Malaysia. Founded by husband-and-wife team Syed Danial Matin and Natasha Afzal, it hosts a mix of social events and tournaments that welcome players of all levels. The events are designed not only for competition but also to foster connection—offering players multiple matches, networking and a sense of belonging within the padel community.

MY Padel Community
