在接受義大利新聞網Rai Italia採訪時，Thomas Ceccon說他15歲時教練問他：「你的夢想是什麼？」他回答：「我要贏得奧運會！」這一直是他的夢想，從未改變過。所以當他在巴黎奧運上贏得男子100米仰泳金牌時，他感到無比激動和開心。
