Taking power and technique up a notch, the Hong Kong Jockey Club Trophy showcases the best in class: a two-round competition with fences set at a height of 1,50m and the winner will win a prize of US$84,000.
HONG KONG JOCKEY CLUB ASIAN JUNIOR CHALLENGE
The new Hong Kong Jockey Club Asian Challenge pitches hopeful showjumpers to the international circuit as part of a partnership effort between EEM and the Hong Kong Jockey Club to help nurture the sport in the region.
It will reward the top three performing Asian riders with a prize money of USD$32,000. Participants hail from Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and China.
Keep a lookout for local star, Jacqueline Siu of the Hong Kong Jockey Club Equestrian Team who will be presenting a unique dressage-performance at the event—her first public performance on home ground since winning Hong Kong’s first-ever individual equestrian gold medal in the Asian Games dressage competition.
