2022 台北羽球公開賽於 7 月 24 日於台北和平籃球館進行決賽！此次總獎金 50 萬美元（約新台幣 1495 萬）共有 3 組台灣之光，包含羽球女單戴資穎、羽球男單周天成以及男雙「麟洋配」王齊麟、李洋 3 組人馬晉級決賽，讓台灣球迷相當期待皆能把 3 座冠軍留在台灣。

男單羽球決賽，由羽球一哥周天成出戰對決日本 21 歲小將奈良岡功大，2 人今日為第一次交手，第一局以 14：21 小天微微落後，第二局小天穩住陣腳以 21: 10 再度拉平比數，賽事進入第三局。第三局時小天率先搶下 1 分，接著勢如破竹一路領先，最終以 21:6 為台灣奪下台北公開賽第一座冠軍獎座。
場邊花絮：周天成於中場休息時換了乾爽的服飾，不只引起現場觀眾尖叫，同時也讓觀眾們一飽眼福。此外，在獲得冠軍後，周天成也送出自己的羽球拍給觀眾，讓球迷又驚又喜。
