The gold medal still eludes us, but do you know how many Olympic medals our own athletes had won so far?

On July 31, the whole nation erupted into rapturous cheer when Malaysia's badminton duo Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik beat Indonesian opponents Mohamad Ahsan and Hendra Setiawan to win bronze medal at Tokyo 2020. It's our first medal at this year's Olympic Games.

On August 8, Azizulhasni Awang was in fine form, storming into the men's keirin final, eventually winning the silver medal. The national cyclist, nicknamed the Pocket Rocketman, previously snagged a bronze medal in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.
