Laguna Phuket Marathon

The Laguna Phuket Marathon has been one of Phuket’s premier sporting events since its inception in 2006. Renowned worldwide and certified by the IAAF AIMS (International Amateur Athletic Federation, International Association of Athletics Federations), it is also a qualifying race for the prestigious Boston Marathon, attracting elite athletes and running enthusiasts from across the globe. Participants can choose from various race distances, including the full marathon (42.195 kilometres), half marathon (21.0975 kilometres), and shorter events such as the 10 kilometres, 5 kilometres, and the 2 kilometres kids' run.
The race is held annually in mid-June (14-15 June, 2025) and takes runners on a scenic route through Phuket’s lush forests, plantations, beaches, local villages, cultural landmarks, and the picturesque Laguna Phuket.
