The ‘Legacy in Motion’ exhibition showcases the spirit of Filipino Olympic and Paralympic athletes as they prepare for Paris 2024
As the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games approach, excitement builds within the Filipino athletic community. A recent event at the SM Mall of Asia Globe, co-hosted by the Embassy of France and SM Supermalls, has further fueled this anticipation.

The event marked an important milestone in the Olympic journey, coinciding with the traditional lighting of the Olympic Flame in Olympia, Greece, the birthplace of these ancient games. In a symbolic passing of the torch, Greek Ambassador Ioannis Pediotis and French Ambassador Marie Fontanel highlighted the enduring legacy and global camaraderie that the Olympics foster.
The ‘Legacy in Motion: A Visual Tribute to Olympic and Paralympic Athletes’ exhibition was also launched at S Maison. Organised by Agence France-Presse and Alliance Française de Manille, the exhibition showcases athletes’ strength and grace in striking photographs.

Featured in the exhibition are stories of persistence, dedication, and excellence from Filipino Olympians like Hidilyn Diaz, Margielyn Didal, and Carlos Yulo. Their paths from intense training to victory provide powerful inspiration for upcoming athletes. The exhibition will be displayed next at The Podium from May 20-26 and at SM Aura from June 23-30.
