Twin Lakes
Twin Lakes in Tagaytay offers fantastic views, a lush countryside atmosphere and grape harvesting
To many of us, Tagaytay is an oft-frequented destination for weekend trips or family excursions. There are plenty of sights to see and activities to engage in, and among them, The Twin Lakes township prominently stands as a must-visit destination. Comprised of a hotel, residential areas and vineyard, it faces Taal Lake, resulting in a truly breathtaking vista. This is further bolstered by its cool climate, European-inspired architecture, charming cafés and its very own vineyard. It is not merely a scenic location to admire from afar, but a relaxing haven to take a moment and slow down.

Twin Lakes' several residential developments offer a modern, contemporary style of living amidst the idyllic setting. This includes the Belvedere, a high-rise condominium with spacious units, a viewing deck and other luxurious amenities; The Vineyard Residences, which comprises three low-rise buildings aptly named after bottles of wine: Shiraz, Merlot and Chardonnay; and the soon-to-rise Lucerne at Domaine le Jardin, poised to be a thriving village community.
Its European-styled architecture and atmosphere is enhanced by a rich array of dining establishments, perfect for impromptu day trips or longer, weekend retreats. Enjoy Filipino favourites, continental classics and comfort food at Mary Grace, savour a taste of Italy at Mama Lou's and treat yourself to dessert at La Creperie. Everywhere you turn is a moment waiting to be captured and remembered—so keep your camera ready!

Nestled amidst sprawling lines of trees and flora, the Twin Lakes Hotel offers plenty for families, friends and professionals alike, creating unforgettable memories no matter the occasion. Its Grand Ballroom is the perfect setting to host a wedding reception, especially with the beautiful flowers and views right outside the hotel’s doorstep. Guests can also relax at the heated infinity pool overlooking the hotel, or experience serenity through full-body massages at the L’Uva spa.
But it is within the township's signature Wine Gallery that one can take to heart the warmth of Twin Lakes. It excels at providing a unique wine tasting experience thanks to a rare selection of labels rarely seen in the country, all while providing bottles we know and love. Wine sampling sessions, periodically held throughout the year, offers a more in-depth look (and taste!) of its rich variety of spirits. The elegant yet rustic décor reinforces this continental feel, making each visit immersive.
Looking down from the hotel's infinity pool, one can observe a cascading set of 16 terraces, bursting with a rich variety of grapes. Earlier this year, the hotel held its first annual Grape Harvest Festival, where visitors can not only walk through the vineyard, but take on a hands-on approach as they gather grapes straight from the vine.

The vineyard has been a part of the hotel since it was built in 2019. Spanning a hillside of 1.05 hectares, it stretches along the length of Twin Lakes. It is accessible to hotel guests, diners and the local township residents through several convenient entry points. It is home to three types of grapes: Brazilian Hybrid, Red Cardinal and Catawba. These are the hotel’s pride and joy, often used as gifts and even incorporated in the menus of its restaurants. During the harvest season, visitors can walk through its many rows and pick grapes straight from the vine, an activity seldom seen in the country and often reserved for places abroad. It's well worth the drive for budding couples, families and distant travellers.
Tagaytay attracts people from all over, thanks to its nature-rich roads, culinary destinations and a view of Taal Lake. The Twin Lakes township deepens and elevates this experience with a marvelous set of amenities, views and activities. Whether you're coming in from the metro or staying for the long run, it is an excellent avenue to explore this beloved city. The grape picking is just the cherry on top.
