SMEG Philippines celebrates 16 Years of art and design excellence at the Ayala Museum
The monumental Ayala Museum was the perfect venue for SMEG Philippines’ 16th anniversary last September 20, 2023. This collaboration showcased the brand's deep commitment to outstanding design and quality. Known for its beautifully built and designed culinary appliances, SMEG, the brand showcased an immersive experience by creating a stunning garden installation named A Garden of Kitchen Delights by SMEG.
The garden installation, filled with real lemon trees, flowers, and verdant greens accentuated the SMEG appliances, and led the guests to an exclusive preview of Juan Luna's long-lost masterpiece, "Hymen, oh Hyménée." The floral inspiration from Luna's artwork highlighted the complementary elements of this milestone celebration, honouring SMEG's rich Italian history.
The transition from the visual artistry showcased by SMEG to Luna’s magnum opus unfolded with effortless and awe-inspiring elegance, as the florals from the indoor garden were reminiscent of those in the long-lost Filipino treasure.

The event drew esteemed guests, including the Italian ambassador to the Philippines, His Excellency Marco Clemente and SMEG Export Director for Asia Matteo Lupi. SMEG's enduring success in the Philippines was evident, with figures from the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines and key players in property development, design, and architecture industries. SMEG has significantly impacted the Philippine skyline through partnerships with premier developers, leading to close to 10,000 luxury condominiums in 40 buildings featuring SMEG kitchens. This memorable celebration served as an expression of gratitude to SMEG's partners and a reaffirmation of its commitment to excellence, further enhancing the lives of its customers with premium appliances that are not only functional but also works of art.
The celebration featured colourful SMEG products and a culinary journey through Northern Italy. The Manila Philharmonic Orchestra serenaded the audience and added elegance to the festivities.
