For this generation, Mercedes-Benz engineers have developed a rear-axle steer system to improve the agility of the GLC 300e 4MATIC in car parks and tight situations with a significantly improved turning circle. Complimenting the 4MATIC all-wheel drive system, the rear steering system can also improve driving stability at cruising speeds without the need to resort to a firmer suspension setting thereby maintaining a smooth and comfortable ride.
