With 30 colors to choose from, the family had a blast debating between soft blues and vibrant pinks to set the mood. But of course, the kids were immediately drawn to the 12.9" infotainment system with its sleek touchscreen display. “A good infotainment system is definitely a must-have in our family car,” noted Fong, “The kids enjoy listening to music and choosing their favourite songs on Spotify.” Mum and Dad willingly obliged song requests from their little ones in the backseat as they queued up their beloved Cocomelon playlist on Spotify. The crisp, immersive sound from the 12+1-speaker Harman Kardon sound system turned the singalong into a full-on concert in the car. And not forgetting the captain’s chairs for both the driver and front passenger, which are equipped with lumbar support and massage functions—ensuring a truly comfortable ride for Dad and Mum on short car rides or long road trips.

The pièce de résistance, however, was the panoramic “Smart Glass” roof. With just a swipe of a finger, the sunroof switches from opaque to transparent, allowing sunlight to stream in or creating a shaded sanctuary for mid-afternoon relaxation. The expansive view of the sky above added a sense of adventure to the Fongs’ drive, with the kids pointing out clouds and birds as the family cruised to their destination.

Using a DC fast charger, the ID. Buzz can go from 10 percent to 80 percent in under 30 minutes—a boon for busy individuals and families who are constantly on the move. After a quick charge, it was time for the Fongs to continue on their journey.

As the designated captain for all of their family outings, Fong was especially appreciative of the ID. Buzz’s subtle but essential safety systems such as the 360-degree Area View, Emergency Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Control. The car’s regenerative braking system not only enhances energy efficiency but also provides a smoother driving experience. “You can really feel what a responsive, quiet, and easy ride it is when you’re behind the wheel,” he remarked.

Finally, it wasn’t long before the Fong family arrived at their destination: a sprawling green space nestled in the heart of the city for a much-anticipated picnic. As everyone quickly unpacked their picnic essentials from the boot and set up their outdoor feast, the ID. Buzz stood proudly nearby; its bold design and vibrant colors adding a cheerful backdrop to their fun-filled day out.
