The four-day extravaganza wowed car enthusiasts with exhilarating drives and an equally high-octane rave night to celebrate the all-new M135 xDrive, M4 CS and M5 Sedan with M xDrive

Undoubtedly the extravaganza of the year for car enthusiasts, BMW’s Joy City was a multi-event celebration to mark all things BMW, and the launch of their all-new M135 xDrive, M4 CS and M5 Sedan with M xDrive.

Starting off with dedicated driving sessions, this four-day fete saw guests putting their driving skills to the test across two driving courses, behind the wheels of the iX1 eDrive20 and 216i GC M Sport to name a few; while others sat in on adrenaline-pumping taxi rides led by driving instructors who put serious pedals to the metal of the M2, M135 xDrive and i4 M50.

At the heart of these high-octane experiences was a Joy City universe—a sprawling Pasir Panjang warehouse that was transformed into a dynamic garage-style exhibition space, presenting experiential zones for guests to discover BMW cars both old and new, and the brand’s philosophies across design, sustainability and luxury, topped off with a rave-style soiree.

On the night of the party—at which Tatler co-hosted a specially-invited coterie of guests—we were immersed in a neon-lit audio-visual spectacle with high-octane DJ sets from Ashley Kiara and Pin Chen energising the industrial-chic venue. The highlight of the night was the dramatic reveal of BMW’s latest M models, each reflecting the marque’s commitment to performance engineering and future-forward innovation.
