Debuted at Aberdeen Marina Club, Sanlorenzo's SP92 and SX100 offer two distinct visions of maritime living — the SP92's shallow-draft waterjet engineering and the SX100's open-plan architecture — both built on lightweight design that lets collectors experience the coast without compromise

Sanlorenzo presented two distinct visions of modern maritime living to Hong Kong collectors at Aberdeen Marina Club this July 2026.

Organised alongside sister division Simpson Marine, the private premiere introduced the Asia-Pacific debut of the SP92 and the Hong Kong arrival of the SX100, and demonstrated how advanced architectural design and engineering solve practical lifestyle challenges on water.

The 90-foot SP92, the second entry in Sanlorenzo's Smart Performance line, brings split-level residential architecture to a high-speed hull. Interior architecture comes from Piero Lissoni of Milan’s Studio Lissoni & Partners, one of the yachting industry's most acclaimed design names, who arranged the interior across four staggered levels that connect the lower deck seamlessly to the water. The design eliminates standard interior barriers, creating fluid transitions between the main salon, elevated helm, lower guest suites, and a flexible fourth level configured as a media room or additional cabin.

Lissoni described the design as "a floating piece of architecture with very well-balanced dimensions. It's like a beautiful motorboat stretching over 90 feet and has the same drivability and speed as a motorboat but with the livability and architecture of a large yacht. SP92 is a cross between a large motorboat and a vast beach. There are spaces that combine, with double height areas, connections between the deck, which is at water level, and the rooms, as the interior blends with the exterior and vice versa."

Externally, Zuccon International Project — the Rome-based studio and one of yachting's most decorated design houses — refined the profile with clean lines and an extended copper-coloured blade running along the superstructure edge. Designer Bernardo Zuccon noted that this signature detail serves as "the most distinctive hallmark of the entire SP fleet, infusing it with energy and a strong identity."

Underneath the clean exterior lies functional technology tailored for the region. Powered by 4,000-horsepower waterjets rather than conventional propellers, the SP92 draws a shallow draft that allows owners to navigate the secluded, low-depth coves around Sai Kung and Hong Kong's southern beaches that traditional superyachts cannot reach.

Reflecting on the engineering ethos, Tilli Antonelli, head of development and product for the SP line, explained that "SP92 reaffirms our commitment to strengthening our research in the segment of high-performance, sporty boats, which has been highly rewarding for us, as evidenced by the prestigious Compasso d'Oro 2024 award that SP110 received from ADI, the Association for Industrial Design. Consistent with the concept underlying the Smart Performance line, SP92 combines the characteristics of a performant yacht with unprecedented livability of both interior and exterior spaces. This model also highlights Sanlorenzo's ongoing commitment to sustainability, one of the key growth drivers we have identified to solidify our leadership in the industry."

Where the SP92 addresses dynamic movement, the SX100 focuses on open-plan living at anchor. As part of Sanlorenzo's crossover SX range, the vessel replaces traditional, compartmentalised saloons with a loft-like environment featuring floor-to-ceiling glass panels and opening side terraces that transform the aft deck into a flush waterside beach club.

Both vessels incorporate technology designed to improve the onboard experience while reducing environmental impact. Ultra-lightweight composite materials reduce total hull weight, cutting fuel consumption by 12 to 13 per cent at cruising speeds.

By pairing architectural ingenuity with advanced technology, Sanlorenzo offers regional owners a refined choice: high-speed access to remote coastlines in unmistakable style and comfort or open-plan life at sea with extensive volumes throughout the yacht, crowned by an iconic beach club, a floating true sanctuary.
