The new Marvel trailer gives us a glimpse of the fearsome villain Gorr—as well as more of the bulked up Natalie Portman as the Goddess of Thunder

The mighty Thor is returning to the big screens in Thor: Love and Thunder—and there are two of them.

At the end of Avengers: Endgame, Thor went off into space with Star Lord and the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy, who will play a big part in the new Marvel release. Valkyrie is also back as the leader of the New Asgard. And if reports were true, Lady Sif, who has been missing from Ragnarok, will also return.

But the most anticipated comeback of them all is Thor's former flame Jane Foster, who now wields the mythical hammer Mjolnir. The new trailer shows more of Foster played by Natalie Portman who obviously trained hard to get into goddess-like shape. There is also our first glimpse of Gorr the God Butcher, the main villain who is bent on killing all gods.

Watch right to the end for a hilarious scene where Zeus (Russell Crowe) 'flicked' Thor down to his birthday suit, a sight that caused some women (and a man) to faint, possibly from his heavenly beauty. Directed by Taika Waititi, who did such an amazing job rebooting the franchise with the brilliant Ragnarok, the trailer rocks to Guns N' Roses' Sweet Child O' Mine, setting the stage for one wild, epic ride.

Thor: Love and Thunder stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Chris Pratt and Tessa Thompson, and will hit theatres on July 8, 2022. Watch the trailer below:
