Blonde bombshell, Léa Seydoux, has enamoured audiences in her new film "France". Here are five interesting things to know about the actress

Léa Seydoux's performance in her new movie, France, has been hailed as among her best. The French actress—who's debuted internationally—has doubtless captured the hearts and imaginations of moviegoers and movie directors. Here are some of the most interesting things we know about Seydoux herself.

1. She was a Bond Girl

Piercing blue eyes and golden hair have served Seydoux well. Alongside Daniel Craig, Seydoux portrays psychologist Madeleine Swann in the 25th instalment of the James Bond movie, No Time to Die. In her own right, she's made history as the first Bond girl to be central to the film and its plot, showcasing the evolving values of women in cinema. 

2. Film is her family's legacy

Seydoux is known by many as a talented actress, yet in her native France, people may also recognise her as part of the inspirational Seydoux clan. Patriarch, Jérôme Seydoux, was the chairman of cinema company, Pathé while Léa's father, Henri, is the CEO of French drone company Parrot. Her grandfather's brothers, Nicolas and Michel Seydoux also chairman the Gaumont Film Company and Lille OSC respectively. 

3. She's always wanted to be a mother

Seydoux is currently the mother of four-year-old George. After giving birth in 2017, Seydoux admitted to always wanting to be a mother, ever since she was a child. She had also been photographed sweetly cradling her baby in public.

4. She's also musically inclined

Though Seydoux is a master on the screen, she is also known to be musically inclined. She studied at the Conservatoire de Paris and even aspired to be an opera singer. However, she also mentioned that she failed to keep up with the strict regiment of most professional singers and henceforth shifted into acting. 

5. She learned English by attending summer camp in the US

A native to France, Seydoux's first language has always been French. However, the actress is also fairly fluent in English due to the fact that her father sent her to attend a sleepaway camp in the United States for six summers straight! This proved incredibly handy when she made her Hollywood debut.
