The Grounds, located at the Hong Kong Observation Wheel and AIA Vitality Park, is set to launch its fourth season, offering a diverse programme of films and experiences

Get ready to bask in cinematic splendour as The Grounds returns to the AIA Vitality Park at the Hong Kong Observation Wheel. Hong Kong’s beloved outdoor cinema series is back for its fourth season, bringing an exciting line-up of films paired with delicious culinary options, all set against the city’s iconic skyline.

Launching on Friday, November 8, The Grounds invites film enthusiasts and food lovers alike to indulge in “Fork Lore Presents”, a curated selection of films that showcase the passion, creativity and culture in the world of restaurants and bars, from heartwarming dramas to comedies. The series is in association with Fork Lore—which is known for its quick-fire interviews with notable hospitality professionals to champion Hong Kong’s dynamic F&B scene.

Moviegoers can also expect movie marathons that transport them to fantastical realms with fan favourites like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Dune. In fact, experience the complete saga of Arrakis in one epic night. On November 16, The Grounds will play both Dune movies back to back. The Grounds will also spotlight local classics, providing a nostalgic journey through Hong Kong’s rich cinematic history.

For couples seeking intimacy, the Dual Delight experience offers charming seating options, from deck chairs to plush ‘loveseats’. The Grounds’ evening schedule also includes favourites like Mamma Mia!, Jumanji, Grease and Barbie playing at dusk.

Enhancing the sensory experience, this year The Grounds will feature state-of-the-art sound systems and individual headphones, allowing guests to immerse themselves fully in their chosen films.

Culinary offerings will be abundant, with BaseHall returning to serve a diverse menu ranging from Italian specialities to traditional cha chaan teng favourites. Don’t miss out on the exquisite gelato from Black Sheep Restaurants' Gelato Messina, featuring movie-themed flavours to perfectly complement your evening.
