Welcome back to our weekly horoscope led by our astrologer De Rui

Mercury and Vesta resume their direct motion across the sky, closing a period of reflection and cutting down on errors. Pluto makes for a powerful truth serum.

Moment of truth

Signs affected the most: Scorpio, Capricorn, Pisces

Outer planet Pluto makes contact with both the Moon and Mercury, driving up the emotional intensity. Feelings that have been pent up in the recent past will seek release around this time. We have a greater desire to dig beneath the surface of things to find out what is really going on. Be aware that trust levels are not at their highest right now, so try not to be offended if people think you have a hidden agenda. Giving or getting a little honesty, even if it’s brutal, can be beneficial in the long run.

Communication flows easily

Signs affected the most: Gemini, Sagittarius, Pisces

Mercury turns direct after its three-week retrograde, marking the gradual tapering of logistical mishaps and technical difficulties. Words may flow forth with more ease as the brain-mouth connection improves. Those battling writers’ block can start to experience some relief. At the same time, our reflections over the past few weeks will support efforts through to the end of the year. If you haven’t had a chance yet, take the last few days of Mercury’s slow awakening this week to reflect on recent events and find a few lessons and takeaways.

Confidently committed

Signs affected the most: Gemini, Libra, Aquarius

On Thursday, Vesta, the celestial body representing commitment and devotion, also emerges out of its retrograde. For the past three months, we may have deeply considered what we devote a lot of our time and energy to, either re-evaluating them or perhaps tried to take things to a deeper level. As the asteroid resumes its usual course, this period draws to a close and we can feel more confident about our commitments: what they are and how involved we need to be.
